Glogster is a web 2.0 tool that allows users to create a digital poster that can contain images, video and sound. Creators can share them with other people via their social network or website and say what is special to them about their lives. There is also a education version which allows teachers to create an interactive online learning classroom where students and teachers can share and collaborate on projects. - go to http://www.glogster.com/
- Click on the pink Register button.
- Fill out all the details and click Sign Up.
- Once logged-in, click on the Create a New Glog button.
- You are now on the standard Glog workspace. Here you can upload images from your computer or use Glogster's own images to create your multimedia poster.

Teacher Tips For Using the Tool
- If you print you need to set your printer to the lightest ink levels possible.
- Set up a classroom account so that your classroom is searchable.
- Import an xcel spreadsheet for your class list.
- Give all of your stuents the same password.
- Complete a collection in a folder for placement of items on the Glogster. Having our text, photos, audio, etc in one place is critical.

We took our Pearl Harbor technology example, http://tpstechex.wordpress.com/ and created a Glogster poster based on the story of Donald Cook, a fictional character we created to describe blogging. Click to see our poster.
To make the poster we searched the Library of Congress website for Pearl Harbor images and we did a simple Google search for images. We then uploaded all of the images to our Glogster account and then manipulated the images to resemble a poster with a picture of Donald Cook as the focus.
4th Graders working on Colorado Citizens who lived in the late 1800's and had an impact on creating Colorado's Government, Cities and Communities created a Glogster about their citizen. Their glogster includes their research, citations, links and primary source pictures. http://hulstrom.glogster.com/colorado-citizen/.
