Primary Sources Example

A general internet search was performed using terms relating to survivor stories of Pearl Harbor.  The National Geographic website "Remembering Pearl Harbor Memory Book" was used as a foundation for story ideas, such as sailor ranks, survival rate per battleship, as well as personal, detailed stories of the main events of that day.  A blog entry was then written as a sailor who survived the aerial bombardment aboard the USS Arizona.  The entry was written as if the teacher was setting the initial example for the lesson, so the story is most likely more detailed than what an average student might create.
